Handy Compact Tractors Can Also Help You With Smaller Jobs

We don’t always carry out big jobs, here is an example of one of the smaller jobs we recently carried out. After the collar that holds the shut off plates on a small fertiliser spinner had worn and rusted through, we were asked to repair it, after finding the part was going to take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive, we decided it was best to make our own part to get the machine back into working order by the next working day.

We fabricated this part from stainless steel due to fertiliser being a very corrosive substance to metal and used our Lathe to turn the steel into the right shape. The customer was very happy with the job and the speed in which we were able to turn this around.
